Camelback Road from Central Avenue to 68th Street is loosly referred to as Cameback Corridor. It is best know for its upscale shopping at Biltmore Fashion Square at 24th although you can find Best Buy and Trader Joe’s at the Camelback Town and Country shopping area at 22th and Camelback. A few condo developments on Camelback include Arcadia Residences, Camelback Fountains, and Meridian.
The Biltmore District includes the area both north and south of Camelback Road, from 16th Street to 44th Street. The famed Arizona Biltmore Hotel is the centerpiece of the Biltmore District and is known for its luxury properties and upscale shopping. Nestled between the Biltmore District and Scottsdale is the area known as Arcadia. This land, which is south of Camelback Road, was home to citrus farmers from 1919 to the mid 1950s.
